Aline Fitness was created to provide consultation, recommendation and mentoring for those that need health and fitness tips. As a nationally certified personal trainer, I develop a fitness program based on your individual needs and fitness goals. With my education and certifications in massage modalities, I can also help you feel better as you work your body and become more healthy and fit.
My education in fitness started in the United States Air Force where I managed a fitness club and organized recreation programs. After my honorable discharge from the Air Force, I attended Pennsylvania State University where I graduated with a B.S. in Health Education with a Minor in Exercise and Sports Science. In 1999, I began my Masters in Education and in Education and then achieved my Bachelors in Exercise Science, Wellness and Fitness in 2012.
From 1991-1999, I managed the Wellness and Aquatic program for the Hollidaysburg YMCA. From 1993-2018, I was the Fitness Instructor/Advisor at Penn State University Altoona Campus where I taught a variety of fitness classes through the intramural Recreation Sports/Fitness Program. From 2007 to 2018, I taught health and physical activity classes in Kinesiology to students at Penn State Altoona. From 2005-2016, I also taught physical education classes to students from pre-school age to 8th grade.
In 2018, I completed the necessary education to receive certifications in various massage techniques and modalities, all of which I am now licensed to offer to my individual clients.
